The garden's layout is based on sacred Tibetan Buddhist principles inspired by the Five Dhyani Buddha Families. Each of the four directions and the center is distinguished by plantings within a specific color spectrum which offer a sense of universal harmony, compassion and peace throughout the seasons.

LITTLE LOTUS HEARTS MEMORIAL GARDEN

Little Lotus Hearts is pleased to be able to offer a final resting place for the ashes of your beloved animal companion in our memorial garden. The Little Lotus Hearts animal memorial garden is located on the grounds of Tsechen Kunchab Ling Temple in Walden New York, a very special and unique location because it is, itself a migratory flyway, located adjacent to a wetland preserve. The grounds include grassy and forested areas as well as plans for a small lake. Due to increasing development, nesting places for wild songbirds, such as bluebirds, have become increasingly rare, so the Little Lotus Hearts memorial garden is a wonderful place because it offers a safe home for some of nature's delicate creations.

The image above, is not a photograph of the site, but a rendering of the site in its final stages of development. Currently, the Little Lotus Hearts memorial garden is still quite wild and will be groomed slowly throughout the year, so as not to disturb any of our natural residents, as we build them new homes and shelters, with the hope that each year they will bring more and more of their fellow creatures with them on their migratory runs.

For details on making arrangements for the spreading of ashes at this wonderful garden, or to make arrangements to come visit, please see the ordering page or contact us at info@littlelotushearts.com.
